Beyond our standard material designs, we have in-house mold-making capabilities to build innovative custom shielding solutions. Custom Silflex shapes are used in applications where space is restrictive, interference is present, and cost is minimized by covering the radiation source exclusively. Our custom designs are developed in collaboration with our experienced design team and nuclear facility personnel.
Customization includes hardware integration, material and shielding properties, temperature ratings, and magnetic strength. We offer prototyping services for fit-up testing and have a wide range of test reports to support the integration of our shielding into your application. Some custom applications have expanded into our specialty product line. If you dream it, we can build it!
